For the Native Language Purity.
Our Ukraine has become free and independent. Today we are building our future ourselves and hope that we’ll soon live the life we deserve being a highly cultured nation with its glorious past and good prospects. Development of culture and technique favor the material enrichment of the country, its prosperity. But don’t forget about spiritual life the center of which is the native language. Tortured and insulted it has survived and is going to blossom out with shoots of new luxuriance. And we must love it, just like children love their mother, protect from any hostility and evil-wishes. Let’s try to do it together! For we are strong and clever! We are Ukrainians - the  heirs of glorious and courageous people! We’ll overcome the obstacles and purify the source of people’s well, and our language will shine with rainbow colors, as the symbol of unconquered Ukrainian people.
Name of the project: For the native language purity.
The main idea: Students find mistakes in the periodicals, announcements, applications, advertisements and goods labels etc., which don’t correspond to the demands of the modern Ukrainian literary language; and then send them with correct variants for the next stage of the project. As a result a selection of materials is going to be published, with all the mistakes corrected and explained. Such research work will contribute to the process of purifying of our native language and the development of not indifferent attitude of young people to it.

Participants of the project must pay attention to any mistakes and linguistic negligence made in adverts, announcements, applications and labels, in periodicals, on WEB-sites etc. and send the corresponding materials (photos are allowed too) with all the drawbacks corrected, for the next stage of the project. Let’s tell each other about these people to feel that our world is an entity and every nation leaves its trace in the life of other peoples.
