“Do we live or survive at school?”
The project is devoted to school problems. It is interactive discussion project for teachers, students and parents. The aim of the project is not only to deal with school problems, but also to try to be helpful in finding appropriate solutions. Coordinator: Valentina Sakhatska, sh208@sh208.edu.ukrsat.com


“Whole World and Mathematics”
The project helps to demonstrate how to make use of computers and Internet technologies at Math lessons. Student and teachers send their examples of tasks and give a chance to reveal their creative abilities, enlarge the Internet resources of works on propaedeutics methods and motivation in studying mathematics at school. “Harry Potter in Ukraine”
Students share their impressions about the world of Harry Potter, observe his fantastic extraordinary life.
They create their own Schools of Dreams, study at Witchcraft and Wizardry School.

“The Dnipro river pure water”
The project consists of some separate sub projects: “Ecological actions”, “The Ros river – the ancient Rus cradle”, for teachers and for students from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. We share our ecological researches, chemical analyses of water, essays, drawings, poems, memories, tourist’s trips. Participants are suggested to introduce their ideas as to the organization of actions or festivals; to produce methodic workouts or scripts of the actions, which are suggested by the plan. It will help those who want to take part in them but don’t know how to do it to prepare the actions, and encourage them to develop their own creative activity.

“ For Authenticity of the Native Language”.
Due to the gained independence and sovereignty the Ukrainian language restored the functions of the state language used in all spheres of political, economic, cultural and spiritual life of Ukrainian people. We care about the further development and authenticity of the modern Ukrainian language. We write articles, poems, essays, and other creative and exploration works about Ukrainian language.

“History of my family in the history of my country”
The main idea of the project is to give children the opportunity to tell about their relatives who made a contribution into the history of their Motherland or their native town. They can be scientists, builders, architects, painters and common but interesting people. Children should know that their motherland is made up of little achievements of all its citizens.

“Cossacks’ kin never sees”
The main idea of the project is to restore Cossacks’ traditions, to unite descendants of glorious Ukrainian Cossacks of Zaporizka Sich, to communicate with young Cossacks from Kuban, Don, Ter, Ural and other regions, to propagandize healthy life style.

“The Art of Children’s upbringing”
How do your parents bring you up? How were your parents brought up? How would you like to bring up your children? What national traditions of upbringing are honored and used in your family, which of those you know you want to restore? Express your ideas in compositions, photos, pictures, poems, and fairy tales – in any way your fantasy prompts you to do it.

“My land is a legend”
Let’s study the history of the native land in legends, to extend the knowledge of folklore, to draw pictures to describe the legends.

The Adventures of the Turtle in the amazing LOGO world.
LOGO programming environment is one of the best way to involve children into computing studies and develop their intellectual abilities. In Ukraine Logo supporters haven’t establish close links so far. In “Adventures of the Turtle” children are able to learn to work in LOGO programming environment, while helping the Turtle to overcome the barriers one by one.

“World of professions around us”
The aim of the project: to help students to get as more useful information about the world of professions as possible. Participants of the project investigate what professions are the most common in their region, what specialists are in great demand; they send composition, pictures, photos, results of their investigations and interviews with interesting people.

“Ukrainian roushnycks” (embroidered in national style cloths and linen towels).
The main idea of the project is to study the history of Ukrainian roushnycks, to tell interesting stories about rushnycks’ embroidery, to organize and then to describe a friendly reception of embroidery masters, to draw sketches of rushnicks for embroidery and explain its techniques and symbolic.

This project helps to realize personal concern in the process of saving energy resources, to implement energy saving technologies in the life of every person.

Students and teachers discuss problems of Safety on the Net. Internet offers a big amount of valuable information and has a huge communication potential. Yet on the other hand there are also very negative elements on the Net that we, and our students in special, need to be aware of.
